On September 8, 2005, the
Board of Supervisors authorized the execution of a contract
to purchase 305 acres from the Estate of Mabel V. Lunceford
for use as a high school site. The environmental and
engineering studies of the property have been completed and
the School Board has requested that it receive that portion
of the 305 acres located north of a stream which bisects the
property. |
