A Resolution to Authorize the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to Execute a Consent to a Deed of Trust on the Leasehold Interest of Midland Development Corporation

Topic Description:

The lease between Fauquier County and Midland Development Corporation requires the County to consent to any assignment of the lease.  Midland Development Corporation has applied for a loan to construct T-Hangars a the airport and the lender has requested that the County execute a consent to the assignment of the lease as security for the deed of trust. 

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
