Topic: 

A Resolution Authorizing the County Administrator to Execute a Letter Approving Construction of a Fire Rescue Facility Within New Baltimore

Topic Description:

The Volunteer Fire Rescue Association is seeking a loan from the United States Department of Agriculture for the construction of a new Fire Rescue facility within the New Baltimore Service District.  A preliminary requirement for such a loan is a letter from the County indicating its approval of the New Baltimore location.  It is  staff’s recommendation that the Board approve such a letter with the proviso that the County make no commitment with regard to financing at this time.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
