Topic Description: |

Pursuant to Section 33.1-70.01 of the Code of Virginia,
1950, as amended, a joint public hearing will be held with
the Board of Supervisors and Resident Engineer for the
Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) to receive
public comment on the proposed Secondary System Construction
Program for Fiscal Years 2005-2006 through Fiscal Years
2010-2011. Copies of the proposed program and budget may be
reviewed at the Warrenton Residency Office of the Virginia
Department of Transportation, located at 457 East Shirley
Avenue, Warrenton, Virginia. A summary of the projects is
located at Attachment 1.
On November 10, 2004, the Board of Supervisors held a joint
public hearing with the Virginia Department of
Transportation, and postponed action until its December
meeting. |

Consider adoption of the
attached resolution. |

Transportation Committee Recommendation: |
|
On October 5, 2004, the Transportation Committee unanimously
recommended approval of the Secondary Road Six Year Plan and
Budget, as presented in the attached resolution. |

Financial Impact Analysis: |
|
VDOT has submitted estimated program allocations and a
budget for the Secondary System Construction Program for
these proposed improvements, which are located in Attachment
2. |
