A Resolution Authorizing Individuals to Act on Behalf of the County’s 457(b) Plan and Resolution Authorizing Adoption of Deferred Compensation Plan

Topic Description:

Along with contract documents, VALIC presented the County with two resolutions that are required to be adopted to establish the County’s 457(b) deferred compensation program.  The Board of Supervisors on October 11, 2007, awarded the contract for deferred compensation to VALIC Retirement Services and authorized the County Administrator to execute the contract. 

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolutions.
