An Ordinance to Amend Sections 4-1 and 4-5 of the Fauquier County Code Pertaining to Provision of Adequate Space and Shelter for Companion Animals

Topic Description:

A public hearing to consider the revision of two sections of the Fauquier County Code (Sections 4-1 and 4-25), which would prohibit confining or tethering companion animals to inadequate space for more than 12 continuous hours in any 24-hour period.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a public hearing and consider adoption of the attached Ordinance.
