A Resolution to Authorize the Addition of Human Resources Policy 53, Personal Use of County Vehicle

Topic Description:

Human Resources Policy 53, Personal Use of County Vehicle, of the Fauquier County Human Resources Policy Manual has been created to establish standard procedures with respect to the accounting of the personal use of County owned or leased vehicles, and to follow IRS regulations on the reporting of the taxable value of the commuting fringe benefit to the employee.  

The creation of Human Resources Policy 53, Personal Use of County Vehicle, has received the endorsement of the Personnel Committee.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

No fiscal impact is anticipated.
