A Resolution Authorizing the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to Execute an Interlocal Agreement to Implement the Workforce Investment Act

Topic Description:

The County of Fauquier is part of the Piedmont Workforce Council, a consortium formed for the purpose of implementing the tasks and performing the continuous oversight responsibilities which are set forth in the Workforce Investment Act.  Fauquier County is being asked to execute an Interlocal Agreement which will define the specific duties and responsibilities of the consortium localities.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
