Topic: 

A Resolution to Reconsider the Previous Adoption of a Resolution to Amend the Board of Supervisors’ Policy Relating to the Allocation of Revenue from the Construction and Demolition Debris Landfill

 

Topic Description:

The attached resolution reconsiders the Board of Supervisors’ adoption of a resolution to amend the Board’s policy relating to the allocation of revenue from the construction and demolition debris landfill.  The resolution which is the subject of this reconsideration was adopted by the Board of Supervisors at its November 17, 2003 meeting.  The Town of Warrenton’s Mayor, has by letter to the Center District Supervisor, requested this reconsideration.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

This reconsideration would nullify the effect of the November 17, 2003 resolution, which resulted in the increase in net earnings in the Solid Waste Enterprise Fund by approximately $180,000 per year.
