|
Topic Description:
|
|
At a work session on
November 17, 2003, the Board of Supervisors reviewed a
PowerPoint presentation regarding the location of the
Fauquier County Visitor Center at the Raymond Farm property
on Route 605, and the establishment of two satellite
centers, one at the Monroe Park in Goldvein, and one at
Marshall. The Board of Supervisors received the information
and will refer the matter for consideration by the Board of
Supervisors taking their seats in January 2004. In
addition, the Board recommended the establishment of welcome
centers to complement the accredited Visitor Center in
supporting countywide tourism efforts. |
