Meeting Rooms

The library offers two (2) meeting room spaces available for rental by the community, the John Barton Payne Community Room and the Bealeton Depot.

John Barton Payne Community Room

The upstairs portion of the gracefully columned John Barton Payne Building, once home to the Warrenton Library, is used for library programs and as a community meeting hall. The room lends itself to hosting a variety of events. A large conference table sits before a fireplace (not functional), above which hangs a large oil painting of Judge John Barton Payne, who donated funds in 1922 to construct this building, the first permanent home for the Warrenton Library.

Bealeton Depot

Built in 1905 and restored in late 2010, the Bealeton Depot includes a charming 800-square-foot room that serves as a library program room and meeting space for private and community events. The room is well suited to meetings or festive occasions. A drop-down screen and laptop-ready projector are practical additions to the historic space.
