The Fauquier County Commemorative Gardens provide an opportunity for friends and family to remember a loved one, salute an achievement, mark a mile stone or honor a colleague while creating beautiful gardens, groves and pathways for all to enjoy for generations.

Commemorative Gardens of Fauquier County
Your gift provides a living memorial, tribute or commemoration of individuals, milestones and events while enhancing the environment and providing an enjoyable place for visitors.
Commemorative donations provide for the initial installation and ongoing care through a designated trust fund that provides the following:
- Plants: purchase, planting, perpetual care (fertilization, pruning, mulch, etc., as needed)
- Amenities: purchase, installation and perpetual maintenance.
- Signs designating the plant, tree or amenity donated and the individual or event it commemorates are located at the gardens.
Acknowledgement of the donation will be sent to the appropriate person.
Plantings will occur only at the most appropriate times, based on season, weather and other conditions.
C.M. Crockett Park
Midland, Virginia
The Commemorative Grove at C.M. Crockett Park is a gallery of indigenous trees such as Beeches, Maples and Oaks. Visitors may enjoy the rustle of leaves overhead or quietly observe the abundance of birds and wildlife as they stroll along the paths or rest on benches nestled among the greenery. The grove is located in the lake park with nearby picnic areas, amphitheatre and boat dock.
