Copper Theft
Sometime between Monday, October 31 and Friday November 4, 2011, unknown person(s) entered an unoccupied home in the 5300 block of James Madison Highway, The Plains, VA, and removed copper pipes.
The home was entered by removing a window air conditioning unit providing access to the basement level. Once inside someone cut and removed several copper pipes.
