How old does my puppy have to be to buy a dog tag?

When a puppy is four (4) months old it is required to have a Dog License.

What does a dog license cost?

An annual license for a spayed/neutered dog is $2.00 and $10.00 for unspayed/unneutered dogs. A three year license is $5.00 for a spayed/neutered dog or $25.00 for unspayed/unneutered dogs. A kennel of twenty (20) through forty-nine (49) dogs is $30.00 and a kennel of fifty (50) or more dogs is $50.00.

What do I need to get a dog license?

You must present a certificate of vaccination, properly executed and signed by the licensed veterinarian performing the vaccination, specifying the date of the vaccination, the date required for revaccination, a brief description of the dog and the name and address of the animal's owner.

Can I request a dog license through the mail?

Yes. Send a copy of the current rabies certificate and a check for the license requested. Be sure to include your address so we can send your receipt and tag(s).
