Topic: 

A Resolution to Initiate A Zoning Map Amendment to the Marshall Service District

Topic Description:

In order to implement the plans of the Marshall Service District Committee and create an attractive Mixed Use Gateway to the Marshall Service District, the Board of Supervisors has determined that it is appropriate to initiate a zoning map amendment to rezone parcels currently zoned R-4 to the proposed Marshall Gateway Special District or alternatively to Commercial Village.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

It is anticipated that the proposed amendment will increase the commercial tax base for the Marshall Service District.

Identify any other Departments, Organizations or Individuals that would be affected by this request:

Affected property owners.
