Architectural Review Board
Through the authority enacted by the Code of Virginia, and as established by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors, the mission of the Architectural Review Board shall be to protect against the deterioration, destruction of, or encroachment upon historic districts and cultural areas; encourage uses which will lead to their continuance, conservation, and improvement in an appropriate manner, and to assure that new structures and uses within each district will be in keeping with the character to be preserved and enhanced.
