2013
On March 12, 2009 the Board of Supervisors approved a Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment to Articles 5, 13, and 14 regarding Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals Procedures and Application Requirements. A Subdivision Ordinance Text Amendment to Sections 9-3 and 9-4 to change the filing dates for Preliminary Subdivision Plats was also approved. The new submission schedule is as follows:

Note: The schedule above outlines when all plans are to be submitted to Fauquier County's Department of Community Development to be scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting. A pre-application meeting is mandatory prior to the filing deadline. The Planning Commission has adopted a policy for considering requests made by applicants to defer Planning Commission action. All new materials must be submitted thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled Planning Commission meeting date. |

The Board of Zoning Appeals meets monthly at 2:00 p.m. in the Warren Green Building located at 10 Hotel Street, Warrenton, VA. 20186. All applications must be filed at least 35 days prior to the first Thursday of each month. A pre-submission meeting is required prior to the filing deadline. MEETING DATES FOR THE AGRICULTURE AND FORESTAL DISTRICT ADVISORY COMMITTEE The Agriculture and Forestal District Advisory Committee meets on the second floor of the Warren Green Building, located at 10 Hotel Street, Warrenton, VA. 20186. All applications must be filed prior to February 1st. | |
