How to Prepare for Reuse:

• Clean, dry and separated, placed in plastic bag or box.
• Also accept Styrofoam pieces, air pillows, bubble wrap, brown packing paper & unmarked boxes.

Why Recycle?

• Plastic polystyrene foam packing “peanuts” are not recyclable but can be reused many times although corn starch based packing peanuts are biodegradable. If they disintegrate in water, they are made from a vegetable matter.
• Uses for packing peanuts are unlimited as art projects, stuffing for bean bag chairs and pet pillows.
• Reduce litter on our roadways.
