The Bealeton branch library opened in 1991 in the Bealeton Village Shopping Center and in January, 1996, the branch expanded from 1,600 square feet to 3,200 square feet. In December, 2003, the current and newly built 10,000-square-foot Bealeton Library opened its doors at Willow Drive North.
In June 2008, the Bealeton branch became a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center. Grant seekers, including individuals and organizations, can access the collection and online databases free of charge. Please speak with a reference librarian for details.
Fauquier County received notification in October 2009 that construction could begin on the Bealeton Station depot, part of the county’s Bealeton Library complex at 10877 Willow Drive North, and long-awaited renovations began in November 2009. Once completed, the depot will be used as a library program room and community meeting space.
