All events and programs are free and made possible by the Friends of the Fauquier Library and the generous support of local businesses. Participants set their own personal reading goals when they register based on how many books they would like to read and log by Saturday, Aug. 10 – the last day to update online book logs. Read, log books and get prizes The library's goal is for participants to collectively read 35,000 books. Help us exceed our goal! The last day to log books you read is Saturday, Aug. 10. Children are entitled to one spin of the prize wheel each week after updating their reading logs. Teens are eligible to draw a small prize each week after updating their reading logs. Additional prizes may be earned by completing short book reviews to be posted in the library or online. Fill out book review forms online or at any Fauquier County Public Library. Each submitted book review enters teens into a weekly drawing for additional prizes. Each Friday, beginning June 14, a name will be drawn from that week’s book review entries. Winners will be contacted. Get reading suggestions See our book lists for children and teens on all kinds of topics, including summer reading lists of area schools when available. Also check out Kiddosphere@Fauquier for book, CD and DVD reviews. |
Attend weekly programs and special events Programs and events begin June 15 and continue through Aug. 10.
