The Fauquier County Parks & Recreation Department invites you and your
family to enjoy all of the park’s resources for hours of fun and leisure
time. Open year-round, the park boasts 8 athletic fields including baseball,
softball, soccer and football. The park also features two concession
stands, 8 picnic shelters, an amphitheater, three playgrounds, a two mile
paved multi-use trail, 3 indoor restrooms, fishing lake, meeting room and
plenty of beautifully landscaped open space. Recreational programs are available

Park Fees
Amphitheater fees are $55 per half-day and $82 for full-day, meeting room ranges from $14-40/hour.
Fishing
Regulations are posted as conditions will change. All county ordinances apply!
Walking/Biking
The paved trail is 1.75 miles in length and is ideal for walking,
biking, skating, and jogging. Enjoy the colors, sounds and aromas
of nature found along the water features, wooded areas, and landscaped
beds.
Park Hours
The Northern Fauquier Community Park is open 365 days a year from dawn to
dusk.
Office Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00
p.m.
Park Rules
Rules are needed to preserve the park and the experiences of park patrons.
Rules are posted at various locations throughout the park and must be observed.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Call the park with any questions.
Ballfields
Ballfields may be used free on a first-come, first-served basis unless previously reserved through a managing sports league. For Soccer and Football field scheduling, please contact the Warrenton Rugby Football Club. For softball and baseball field scheduling, please contact Fauquier Freeze. Picnic and Shelters
Picnic shelters can be used free on first-come, first-served basis or reserved
for a special day at the Park. There are a variety of shelter sizes to
accommodate small gatherings or large events up to 250 people. They
serve as the perfect location for family get-togethers, office parties
or corporate retreats.
Call the park for details on how to reserve a shelter. You
can click on the shelters identified on the map above to access availability
screens.
Shelters do not have water or electricity. A Special Event ($10) and/or
Vendor ($20) permit may be required. Reservations are 7:00 a.m. until 2:00
p.m. and 2:30 p.m. until dusk.

Amphitheater
The amphitheater seats approximately 300. The park plans to use the amphitheater
for musical concerts, nature talks, performances, and other special events.
The amphitheater may be rented and can be used for weddings and private
festivals. Click on the Dell Amphitheater identified on the map above to
access the availability screen.
Meeting Room Rental
A small meeting room is available for rental and includes use of a coffee
maker, microwave, and refrigerator. The space will accommodate up
to 20 persons depending on the room set-up. You
can click on the "Entry Building" identified on the map above to access availability

office details on how to reserve the meeting room.
Volunteers/Donations
The Northern Fauquier Community Park has many rewarding opportunities for
you to give towards the goal of making the park the best it can be. Volunteers
and Donations are gladly accepted for general or specific areas of the

Take Right on Belvoir Rd / Co Rd 709
Take a Left on John Marshall Hwy / VA-55 W
Park is on Right.

Take Exit 27 toward VA-55 E / Marshall / VA-647
Turn Left on to Free State Rd
Turn Right on to John Marshall Hwy W Main St/ VA-55. Continue to follow John Marshall Hwy / VA-55.
Park will be on Left.
From Richmond area:
Take I-95 N toward Washington
Merge on to US-17 N via Exit 133 toward Warrenton
Turn Right onto James Madison Hwy / US-15 N / US-17 N / US-29 N. Continue to follow US-15 N / US-29 N
Merge on to US-17 Spur toward US-17 N/Warrenton US-29-BR
Turn Right on to James Madison Hwy/US-17 N.
Continue to follow US-17 N.
