Sheriff’s Office Crime Log For the Week of May 16-22, 2005

Offense: Assault

On May 16, 2005 in the 11200 block of Torrie Way, Bealeton, the complainant reported an assault. The victim was treated for lacerations. Case is pending.

On May 19, 2005 in the 10800 block of Willow Dr, Bealeton, the complainant reported an assault. Minor injury was reported. Investigation continues.

On May 19, 2005 in the 10000 block of James Madison Hwy, Warrenton, the complainant reported an assault and damage to a vehicle. Minor injury was reported. Loss is estimated at $300. Closed by arrest.

On May 20, 2005 in the 10000 block of James Madison Hwy, Warrenton, the complainant reported an assault. No injury was reported.

On May 21, 2005 in the 5100 block of Dumfries Rd, Warrenton, the complainant reported an assault. Minor injury was reported.

Offense: Assist

On May 18, 2005 the Sheriff’s Office assisted a citizen in the 9300 block of Bastable Mill Rd, Catlett.

On May 20, 2005 the Sheriff’s Office assisted a citizen in the 7600 block of Greenwich Rd, Nokesville.

On May 21, 2005 the Sheriff’s Office assisted Rescue in the 6400 block of Wendys Ln, Warrenton.

Offense: Burglary

On May 18, 2005 in the 9900 block of Meetze Rd, Midland, the complainant reported a breaking and entering. Loss is estimated at $150. Investigation continues.

On May 22, 2005 in the 7000 block of Settlers Ridge Rd, Warrenton, the complainant reported a breaking and entering. Loss is estimated at $2700. Investigation continues.

Offense: Counterfeiting

On May 22, 2005 in the 10000 block of James Madison Hwy, Warrenton, the complainant reported a counterfeit bill. Loss is estimated at $20. Investigation continues.

Offense: Destruction of Property

On May 18, 2005 in the 10800 block of Lord Chancellor Dr, Bealeton, the complainant reported damage to a fence. Loss is estimated at $50.

On May 18, 2005 in the 6200 block of Aspen Way, Bealeton, the complainant reported damage to a bus. Loss is estimated at $100.

On May 18, 2005 in the 3300 block of Elioak Ln, Catlett, the complainant reported damage to a vehicle. Loss is estimated at $400.

On May 18, 2005 in the 6500 block of Huntsman Ln, Marshall, the complainant reported damage to a vehicle. Loss is estimated at $200.

On May 19, 2005 in the11500-12200 blocks of Leeds Chapel Ln, Markham, five complainants reported damage to mailboxes. Loss is estimated at $262.

On May 19, 2005 in the 4100 block of Leeds Manor Rd, Markham, the complainant reported damage to mailboxes. Loss is estimated at $500.

On May 19, 2005 in the 12300 block of Moss Hollow Ln, Markham, the complainant reported damage to a mailbox and sign. Loss is estimated at $500. On May 19, 2005 in the 3500 block of Sunnyside Ln, Markham two complainants reported damage to mailboxes. Loss is estimated at $120.

On May 19, 2005 in the 6000 block of Lake Sunset Ln, Hume, the complainant reported damage to a mailbox. Loss is estimated at $50.

On May 19, 2005 in the 6400 block of Lee Hwy, the complainant reported damage to a building. Loss is estimated at $20,000.

On May 19, 2005 in the 7200 block of Colonial Rd, Warrenton, the complainant reported damage to a vehicle. Loss is estimated at $1000.

On May 20, 2005 in the 2000 block of Cromwell Rd, Catlett, the complainant reported damage to a mailbox. Loss is estimated at $50.

On May 21, 2005 in the 11700 block of Coffman Cir, Bealeton, the complainant reported damage to windows. Loss is estimated at $600.

On May 17, 2005 in the 8200 block of James Madison Hwy, Warrenton, an arrest was made for driving while intoxicated.

On May 19, 2005 in the 5000 block of Lee Hwy, Warrenton, an arrest was made for driving while intoxicated.

On May 21, 2005 in the 9000 block of Meetze Rd, Warrenton, an arrest was made for driving while intoxicated.

On May 22, 2005 in the 70 block of West Lee St, Warrenton, an arrest was made for driving while intoxicated.

On May 22, 2005 in the 11000 Marsh Rd, Bealeton, an arrest was made for driving while intoxicated.

Offense: Drunk in Public

On May 22, 2005 in the 4200 block of Grapewood Dr, Nokesville, an arrest was made for public intoxication.

Offense: Fraud

On May 17, 2005 in the 7600 block of Wankoma Dr, Remington, the complainant reported identity theft. Investigation continues.

On May 20, 2005 in the 5700 block of Hunton Wood Dr, Broad Run, the complainant reported fraud. Loss is estimated at $6000. Investigation continues.

On May 20, 2005 in the 5200 block of East Main St, Marshall, the complainant reported fraud. Loss is estimated at $75.

On May 19, 2005 in the 10500 block of St Pauls Rd, Bealeton, the complainant reported fraud. Loss is estimated at $150. Investigation continues.

Offense: Larceny

On May 16, 2005 in the 5500 block of Jaclyn Dr, Warrenton, the complainant reported theft from a vehicle. Loss is estimated at $62.

On May 17, 2005 in the 10000 block of James Madison Hwy, Warrenton, the complainant reported the theft of cash. Loss is estimated at $472. Investigation continues.

On May 17, 2005 in the 10500 block of John S Mosby Hwy, Paris, the complainant reported the theft of a video camera. Loss is estimated at $500.

On May 17, 2005 in the 11100 block of Kira Ct, Bealeton, the complainant reported the theft of medication. Loss is estimated at $10. Investigation continues.

On May 20, 2005 in the 5000 block of Lee Hwy, Warrenton, the complainant reported the theft of gasoline. Loss is estimated at $22.

On May 20, 2005 in the 11500 block of Remington Rd, Remington, the complainant reported the theft of a recreational vehicle. Loss is estimated at $1600. Investigation continues.

On May 20, 2005 in the 7300 block of Greenwich Rd, Warrenton, the complainant reported the theft of two license plates. Loss is estimated at $35.

Offense: Narcotics Violation

On May 18, 2005 in the 12100 block of James Madison Hwy, Remington, an arrest was made for narcotics and traffic violations. This incident involved a single vehicle accident with no reported injury.

On May 20, 2005 in the 500 block of Alwington Farm Rd, Warrenton, the Sheriff’s Office recovered narcotics.

Offense: Property

On May 16, 2005 in the 14200 block of Silver Hill Rd, Sumerduck, the Sheriff’s Office recovered a trailer that was reported stolen from another jurisdiction.

On May 18, 2005 in the 6400 block of Lee Hwy, Warrenton, the complainant reported a found weapon. Investigation continues.

On May 19, 2005 in the 5000 block of Dumfries Rd, Catlett, the complainant reported a lost cell phone.

On May 19, 2005 in the 4800 block of Stillhouse Rd, Hume, the complainant reported a found weapon. Investigation continues.

Accidents:

On May 16, 2005 an accident was reported in the 8700 block of Old Dumfries Rd involving one vehicle. One injury was reported.

On May 17, 2005 an accident was reported at the intersection of Marsh Rd and Catlett Rd. No injury was reported.

On May 17, 2005 an accident was reported in the 10000 block of James Madison Hwy. No injury was reported.

On May 18, 2005 an accident was reported in the 10600 block of James Madison Hwy involving two vehicles. No injury was reported.

On May 18, 2005 an accident was reported in the 8400 block of James Madison Hwy involving two vehicles. Two injuries were reported.

On May 18, 2005 an accident was reported at the intersection of James Madison Hwy and Freeman’s Ford Rd involving two vehicles. Two injuries were reported.

On May 19, 2005 an accident was reported in the 6900 block of James Madison Hwy involving one vehicle and a deer. No injury was reported.

On May 19, 2005 an accident was reported at the intersection of James Madison Hwy and O’Keefe Rd involving two vehicles. No injury was reported.

On May 20, 2005 an accident was reported in the 10100 block of Marsh Rd involving two vehicles. No injury was reported.

On May 21, 2005 an accident was reported in the 8000 block of the Eastern Bypass involving one vehicle. No injury was reported.
