LOCAL MAN CHARGED IN DOG POISONING
A warrant charging Maliciously Administer Poison to Dogs has been obtained and served on Thomas Kemp North 3rd, a 36 year old male of the 4500 block of Weston Road in Casanova, Virginia.
On December 31, 2005 Deputy R. M. Cooper of the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control Division responded to the 4500 block of Weston Road for several dogs that had died under suspicious circumstances. The bodies of the dogs were tested at the Department of Agriculture Lab with results being positive for pesticide.
A hearing date of May 18, 2006 has been scheduled in the Fauquier County General District Court.
