A Fauquier County man has been charged in connection with a July 25th structure fire on Marsh Road in Bealeton.
Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office Detective Jim Jones conducted an investigation into the fire and subsequently developed a suspect.
On Monday, August 06, 2012, Detective Jones arrested Sean Edward Macsorley, 29, of Nightingale Lane, Bealeton, VA. Macsorley is charged with breaking and entering with the intent to commit larceny and burning or causing to be burned a building while unlawfully inside such building with the intent to commit a felony.
The Sheriff’s Office responded to a fully involved structure fire in the 10400 block of Marsh Road on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at approximately 5am. A neighbor and passersby observed the fire and contacted the Emergency Communications Center.
The structure was under renovation for use by a local church at the time of the fire.
Macsorley is currently being held in the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
