NEW! - EITC is a federal tax credit for low-to-middle income working individuals and families. An individual or family making as little as $10 can qualify, but you must file an income tax return to get it - even if the IRS doesn't require filing taxes for your income level. NEW! - Fauquier County has received a Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) grant from the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). The purpose of the grant is to stabilize neighborhoods in Fauquier County with foreclosure rates of at least 8% through the acquisition, rehabilitation, and resale of approximately 9 residential homes in Bealeton, Remington, and Warrenton.
