The Board of Supervisors has scheduled a public hearing to consider repealing Article XX, Stormwater Management Fee of Chapter 8, Finance and Taxation, of the County Code.  The stormwater management fee has been imposed by Fauquier County since 2014 and has been used by the County for stormwater program fees and costs.  The revenue received has been insufficient to cover all of the costs associated with administering the stormwater program.  The County is better able to fund the costs associated with administering the stormwater program through other sources of revenue, including taxation, as part of the County's annually adopted Budget.

A public hearing is required in order to repeal a County Ordinance.
