View brilliant stars and constellations at the International Astronomy Day! Bring your own telescope or observe through one of the amazing telescope provided by Northern Virginia Astronomy Club. Filtered telescopic observations of the sun, slide shows and talks by nationally known astronomers begin at 5pm. Stargazing begins at dusk. Powerful telescopes will be available for public viewing throughout the evening. Members of the Northern Virginia Astronomy Club will be on-site to answer your astronomy questions.
