Adult/Senior Basic Home Defense
The USCCA "Basic Home Defense" five-hour mini-course is a NON-Live-Fire learning event designed for citizens who wish to understand the basics of home defense planning. This mini-course covers developing a home defense plan, self-defense firearms basics, defensive shooting fundamentals, the legal use of force, violent encounters and their aftermath, as well as a discussion on "gear and gadgets". This course is taught by an NRA and USCCA certified instructor and is intended to educate the average citizen on the basics needed to make their home and themselves less vulnerable. Course training includes a dryfire simulated (with feedback) course of fire.'No student need bring any equipment or firearms, only themselves.
