Located at Fauquier Parks and Recreation's tranquil Riverside Preserve, rising 1st and 2nd graders spend mornings exploring the banks of the Rappahannock River in our Junior River Rangers Summer Camp. Learning through investigating, we will ask and answer questions about the plants and animals that make the river their home. Together, we will play games, meet new friends, hike, make rock castles, and much more! If you don't mind getting dirty and want to spend time outdoors, this camp is for you! Your little river steward will float down the river and jump into swimming holes. To ensure safety on and off the river, our camps have less than 15 campers each week and provide life jackets that your camper will wear anytime in the river.'Note: If there is bad weather the camp will take place at one of the shelters at Crockett Park.
