🌱 Be the Spark That Grows a Greener Future!
Calling all scouts, troops, nature lovers, and hands-on heroes, we need your help to bring a seed of hope to life!
Fauquier County Parks and Recreation is launching a community-driven Native Seed Library Project, and YOU can be part of something truly lasting. We're looking for charming seed exchange stations that will be placed in local parks and community spaces, each one filled with native plant seeds, ready to be taken and sown by neighbors near and far.
🌻 Why it matters: Native plants are vital to protecting biodiversity, providing habitat for birds, bees, butterflies, and more. By helping build these seed libraries, you’re literally planting the future—one garden at a time. 📢Woodworkers and builders, we need your hands and skillset to craft amazing little libraries! 📢 Troops and scouts: this is an amazing project for Eagle Scout candidates or anyone passionate about conservation.🌾 Whether you're here to build, share seeds, or inspire others to grow, your contribution matters. Together, let’s sow the seeds of change, one little library at a time!
