Safely Dispose of Your Household Hazardous Waste – August Collection Dates

Dear Fauquier County Residents,

Do you have leftover paint, old cleaners, or garden chemicals sitting around the house? Dispose of them safely and responsibly through our Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Program—available to Fauquier County residents only. Materials from businesses are not accepted! 

🗓 August Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Dates:

  • Saturday, August 2, 2025

  • Saturday, August 16, 2025
    Time: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    Location: Corral Farm Collection Site
                       8499 Bingham Road, Warrenton

📅 This service is offered year-round on the first and third Saturdays of each month (excluding holidays).
Appointments are also available on Wednesday mornings (requests must be submitted by close of business on Mondays).

🧴 What Can You Bring?
Residential quantities only (limit: 40 pounds solid or 15 gallons liquid per day. Liquids must be in containers no larger than 5 gallons). Accepted items include:

  • Indoor/outdoor paints, varnishes, and thinners

  • Household and automotive cleaning products

  • Pesticides, herbicides, and lawn care items

  • Gasoline, contaminated oil, spray cans

  • Insect sprays, pet supplies, drain cleaners, and more

🚫 Not Accepted:

  • Materials from businesses

  • Ammunition or explosives

  • Biological or radioactive materials

🔧 How to Prepare:
Bring items in original, labeled containers that are sealed and securely packaged for safe transport.
