Mary Leigh McDaniel, Marshall District Supervisor

REGAN WASHER

Marshall Magisterial District

Regan Washer graduated from Wakefield School in The Plains and pursued his further education at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Although Mr. Washer is not a Fauquier native, he grew up just over the Bull Run Mountain in Haymarket and professes that Fauquier County was bound to be his forever home. Mr. Washer began his professional career in the financial services industry working for an institutional money management firm. He transitioned out of the corporate world and into his family wealth management practice located in The Plains, where he is a managing partner and continues to hone his knowledge of finance by helping families build wealth and plan for their future.

Mr. Washer was elected to public office to represent the Marshall Magisterial District on the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors, for a four-year term beginning in January of 2024. Mr. Washer’s passion for the outdoors, agriculture, and overall preservation of the rural way of life in Fauquier County is what led him to seek public office.

In 2024, Mr. Washer was appointed to sit on the Agricultural and Forestal District Advisory Committee; Fauquier County Broadband Authority; Finance Committee; and the Public Safety Committee. In 2025, Mr. Washer was also appointed to the Agricultural Development Advisory Committee.

Mr. Washer and his wife Leah live in Orlean on the family farm. He runs a homestead operation on the property where he strives to balance regenerative farming practices with wildlife habitat management.
