Purpose
The Health and Safety Committee is a sub-committee which serves to improve the overall safe operating procedures and conserve personnel, vehicles, and equipment through accident prevention, training, and maintenance. It works to promote the highest possible levels of safety and health for all system members, by the prevention and reduction of accidents, injuries, and occupational illness.
Authority
The Health and Safety Committee was established by the Fire Rescue Chief.
Term
Members are appointed for a two-year term.
