Purpose

The Recruitment and Retention Committee is a sub-committee which serves to recruit and retain fire and/or rescue personnel, either career or volunteer, for the Fauquier County Fire Rescue System.  This committee is responsible for the career recruitment process, to include testing, pre-screening, and interviews.  The committee is also responsible for the recruitment and retention of volunteers, through school events, fairs, etc.

Authority

The Recruitment and Retention Committee was established by the Fire Rescue System Chief.

Term

Members are appointed for a two-year term.
