Purpose

Farm 02 The Agricultural and Forestal District Advisory Committee is charged with providing advice and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors regarding the creation and renewal of Agricultural and Forestal Districts. Advisory duties include the addition and withdrawal of parcels to Agricultural and Forestal Districts and maintaining the county's policies and procedures related to Agricultural and Forestal Districts. Final determinations regarding district renewals and individual requests for addition or withdrawal are made by the Board of Supervisors.

Authority

The Agricultural and Forestal District Advisory Committee is established pursuant to the Code of Virginia.

Term

Committee member terms are four years, concurrent with the Board of Supervisors.

Meetings
