Purpose

The Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) Trust Finance Committee is a standing committee that was established to monitor the OPEB trust for the purpose of accumulating and investing assets to fund Other Post-Employment Benefits, in the form set forth in the Virginia Pooled OPEB Trust Fund Agreement.

Authority

The OPEB Trust Finance Committee is established pursuant to § 15.2-1547 of the Code of Virginia. 

Term

Committee members are appointed for a term of two years, ending June 30.
