Purpose

The Purchase of Development Rights Selection Review Committee is appointed by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors to assist in the review of Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) Program applications and to prepare recommendations for the purchase of development rights on qualified farm properties.

Authority

The Purchase of Development Rights Selection Review Committee was established May 17, 2004, by Resolution of the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors in conformance with the Code of Virginia.

Term

Committee members serve for a term of four years, concurrent with Board of Supervisors term.
