Purpose

The mission of the Fauquier County Towing and Recovery Advisory Board is to protect the public by setting standards of qualifications, training, and experience for those who seek to represent themselves to the public as towing and recovery professionals, and to promote high standards of professional performance for those engaged in the practice of towing and recovery.

 

Special Announcement:  

The Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office will be accepting applications for Heavy Duty Law Enforcement Requested Towing from January 31, 2020 to February 9, 2020.  All applicants will need to fill out and submit the Law Enforcement Tow Application located below. The applicant must meet the requirements outlined in the Fauquier County Motor Vehicles and Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 13, Article V Law Enforcement Requested Towing, 13-62 through 13-78 (link provided below).

Responsibilities, Appointment, & Terms

Committee Term:  No term expiration. Members serve until they no longer qualify or they resign.
