We provide certified copies of marriage licenses which were issued in Fauquier County only:

• Marriage licenses from 75 years old to present:  $3.00 for each copy (certified copies only)

• Marriage licenses older than 75 years: 50 cents per page (certification upon request, additional $2.00).

Copies can be obtained by coming into our office in person (see our Office Hours) or sending a request by mail.  When requesting copies by mail, please include the following:

• Marriage license number
• Full name of both parties
• Self-addressed, stamped envelope
• Payment (Cash, checks, money orders only)
