PLANNING COMMISSION

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES

Members of the public who would like to provide comments to the Planning Commission at a regular public meeting are encouraged to do so.

Written Correspondence:

• Advance written comments may be mailed to the Planning Commission, 16 Courthouse Square, Suite 100, Warrenton, Virginia 20186.

E-mail Comments:                                                                                        

• Advance written comments may be submitted electronically to meredith.meixner@fauquiercounty.gov. 

In Person:

• Seating will be available to those desiring to speak during a scheduled public hearing.

• Citizens wishing to appear in person should arrive prior to the start time of the meeting. Upon arrival at the Warren Green Building on 10 Hotel Street, Warrenton, VA 20186 you will receive additional direction.

• Comments will be limited to 3 minutes.

Citizen Comments:

• Written or e-mail comments will not be read aloud into the record; however, those comments will be provided to the Planning Commission for their consideration and will be included in the meeting file.

• Normal rules of order shall apply to all comments and any found to be out of order or inappropriate will not be read or included in the record of the meeting.
