The Fauquier County Land Development Online Portal can now be used to apply online for certain Community Development (Building, Zoning and Planning) applications.  It is s a fast and easy way to apply for: 

• Pre-Application Meeting Requests
• Agricultural and Forestal District Additions/Withdrawals
• Zoning Compliance Letters
• Subdivision Potential Letters
• Minor Home Occupation Permits
• Residential Building Trade Permits (Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Gas)
• Deck Permits
• Finished Basement Permits

To apply for plans/permits online, you will need a Portal account. To create an account, you will need to select “Login or Register” button on the portal home page to begin registration. Newly created accounts will be approved by the staff during regular business hours.
