AlertFauquier

There is a new alerting system in Fauquier County. Alert Fauquier, powered by Rave Mobile Security, will send you the alerts in case of emergencies. These can range from weather alerts to community developments, such as a look out or lock down.

Please use the following link to register/log in: https://www.smart911.com/smart911/ref/reg.action?pa=fauquier. From here you can select the types of alerts you would like to receive and how you would like to receive them. It can be by phone, email, or text.

Crowd Managers at Large Gatherings

To better ensure the health and safety of the citizens and visitors of Fauquier County, the Statewide Fire Prevention Code (SFPC) was adopted and incorporated in Chapter 9 of the Fauquier County Code. It, along with all Fauquier County Codes and Ordinances, will be adhered to.

We ask that organized events follow these codes - including section 403.12.3 Crowd Managers which states in part:

 403.12.3 Crowd Managers. Where facilities or events involve a gathering of more than 500 people, crowd managers shall be provided in accordance with Sections 403.12.3.1 through 403.12.3.3.
