The Department of Environmental Services strives to provide safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly residential collection sites, transfer station, and recycling system for county residents and businesses.

CORONA VIRUS OPERATIONAL UPDATE
March 31, 2020

The Fauquier County Environmental Services Administrative Office will remained closed to the public.

The health and safety of our customers and staff is our number one priority.  Please either mail, fax, or email all new disposal account or permits for processing to the office.

Customers with questions are encouraged to call 540-422-8840 or email environmentalservicesdept@fauquiercounty.gov

At this time, the Transfer Station and Residential Collection Sites will continue to accept trash and recyclables during regular business hours.  Our staff will be onsite to help residents who are in need of assistance but we encourage residents who are able to please self-unload.  Extra precautions to protect staff and the community we service have been put in place.
