Inspiring Environmental Stewardship—One Program at a Time

Learning about recycling should be fun, engaging, and inspiring! The Fauquier County Environmental Services Recycling Information Team offers FREE educational programs that help children and adults discover how small everyday actions can make a big difference for our community and our planet.

Whether you're a teacher looking for a classroom presentation, a scout leader planning a badge activity, a homeschool group searching for hands-on learning, or a community organization interested in an environmental program, we're here to help.

Hands-On Learning for Every Age

Our programs bring the 3 R's—Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle—to life through exciting activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and environmental responsibility. Many programs include STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities, giving participants the opportunity to explore environmental concepts while building problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

For schools, we're happy to tailor presentations and activities to support the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs) and the specific needs of your classroom.
