Electronics with fee associated are not accepted on Sundays.

Battery Backup• Laptops/Tablets • Central Processing Unit (CPU) • Televisions and Monitors (under 100 pounds) • Large Stand-Alone Copiers • Fax Machines • Microwaves • Printers/Fax Combo • Console or Floor Model Televisions (Bulky or over 100 pounds) • Broken/Dismantled Televisions or Monitors (any size) • Solar Panels-Undamaged 60 cell (39 in X 65 IN) or 72 cell (40 in X 80 in) *contact office for other sizes
No fee for all other electronic including: Camcorder • Circuit Boards • Cords/Cables • Modems/Routers • Plotters • Remote Controls • Stereo Systems • Cameras • Computer Accessories • DVD/VCR/CD Players • Pagers • Printers (Desktop) • Scanners (Desktop)Chargers • Copiers (Small) • Electronic Games/Toys • Phones & Cell Phones • Radios • Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Detectors
All electronics accepted (anything with a power cord or battery).
Why Recycle?
Fauquier County residents diverted approximately 131 tons of electronics from the landfill in FY25. It is estimated that 150 million computer parts are discarded each year alone in the US, enough to fill an entire one acre in area and 3.5 miles deep. (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency)
