As confirmed by Federal Engineering, Inc., the Motorola APX8500 mobile, APX8000 series, and APX NEXT portable radios have successfully completed DHS P25 CAP testing and meet full interoperability standards. These radios were tested specifically against the L3Harris MASTR V infrastructure used in Fauquier County and passed all required test cases, including:

• Trunked subscriber interoperability
• Encryption handling
• TDMA operation and emergency call functionality
• Unit-to-unit and group call compatibility

They are considered fully interoperable and technically compatible with Fauquier County’s Phase I/II radio system infrastructure. Full DHS P25 CAP Summary Test Reports are available upon request or in the attachments.
