The John Marshall Soil & Water Conservation District follows specifications for Best Management Practices set forward by the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS).  NRCS specifications may be found on the Field Office Technical Guide.  To access information for Fauquier County, select Virginia from the state menu and click submit.  On the left side tree menu, click on "Section IV", and then "Conservation Practice Standards and Support Documents".  A list of the specifications will be populated.
