The Northern Fauquier Community Park is an award-winning park located off of John Marshall Highway (Route 55) on the outskirts of Marshall, Virginia. The park consists of beautifully landscaped areas and paths that are a perfect place to exercise, jog, bike, picnic and enjoy the park surroundings.
The County and community acknowledges and is overwhelmed by the 14 million dollar donation, made by the Paul Mellon estate.
The 88 acres park features:

Environmental Education Programs
The park offers environmental education programs for schools and scout groups. All programs comply with the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL's). The list of which SOL's each activity meets can be supplied. Each program is $3 per activity per student and must be scheduled in advance by calling the park office.

Rules are needed to preserve the park and the experiences of park patrons. Rules are posted at various locations throughout the park and must be observed. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. For a full listing of Park Rules and Ordinances, Click here.
Special Event/Vendor/Equipment Permits
Special Event Permit required for any activity that has 75 or more people, cost $15. Permit request must be made at least 20 days in advance. For activities that bring any business to the park like a caterer, D.J., hired entertainment or amusements, a Vendor Permit is required - cost $20. An Equipment Permit is required when bringing large equipment like: tables, chairs, grills, pop-up tents, etc. - No cost
All diamond and rectangular fields may be used free on a first-come, first-served basis unless previously reserved through the Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department.
