🌊Swim Lessons at Larry Weeks Community Pool

We are excited to once again offer our popular summer swim lesson program at Larry Weeks Community Pool!

Whether your child is just beginning their swim journey or continuing to build confidence and technique in the water, our experienced instructors are ready to help swimmers succeed in a fun, encouraging, and safe environment.

In addition to our popular Private and Semi-Private Swim Lessons, we are excited to introduce NEW late afternoon Group Swim Lessons on select weeks this summer!

✨ To help provide individualized attention and quality instruction, all group swim lessons are capped at a maximum of 8 participants per class.

Swim Lesson Information

Session Dates

• Swim Lessons begin June 1 and run through July 31

• Additional August lesson opportunities may be added — stay tuned!

• No lessons will occur during the week of July 4

👶 Age & Scheduling Guidelines

Ages 2–3

• Must be scheduled for private lessons or select group lessons

Ages 2–6

• Lessons available between 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Ages 7+

• Lessons available throughout the day from 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Important Note

Lessons scheduled between 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM will take place in deeper water. Participants should be comfortable standing in deeper water during these lesson times.

• County Resident Registration Opens: February 2

• Non-Resident Registration Opens: February 9

Spots fill quickly each summer, so we encourage families to register early through the Fauquier County Parks & Recreation Registration Portal.

Families will receive a welcome letter approximately one week prior to the start of swim lessons confirming lesson times, instructor information, and additional program details.
