The Command Staff is a team of individuals at the highest level of organization management, they are a group of individuals responsible for the operational, administrative, logistical, and day to day needs of the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office.

Lieutenant Colonel Chad Brubaker - As the Chief Deputy, he leads the day to day operations for the Sheriff’s Office and has considerable latitude for independent decisions and judgment in executing the Sheriff’s vision.

Major Jason Romero - As the Support Operations Commander, his responsibilities include the Communications Division and the Professional Standards Division, which includes Records, Training & Accreditation and Property & Evidence.  Major Romero is currently enrolled in a Master's of Public Administration program at George Mason University.  

Major Ray Prudhum - As the Judicial Operations Commander, his responsibilities include the Adult Detention Center and Civil Process/Court Security Division.

Major Mike Zeets - As the Law Enforcement Operations Commander, his responsibilities include the Patrol Division and Criminal Investigations Division.
